Frequently Asked Questions
Short answers to the questions readers send most often. If yours is not here, send a message.
Is Flight Attendant Central an airline or a recruitment agency?
No. Flight Attendant Central is an independent guide. We do not hire cabin crew and cannot pass on your application. Every airline makes its own hiring decisions, so you always apply directly on the airline's official careers site.
When is Emirates, Qatar Airways or Etihad coming to my city?
The airlines announce new events on their own careers sites, often only a few weeks ahead. Our Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad pages list every published upcoming event and are checked twice a week. If your city is not listed, nothing has been announced for it yet.

Can I apply if there is no event in my country?
Often, yes. Emirates and Etihad accept online applications and invite shortlisted candidates to an Assessment Day, which may be in another city. Qatar Airways recruits through online applications for specific cities, so you apply for the location closest to you. Each airline page explains how its recruitment works right now.
Am I too old or too short, and are tattoos a problem?
Each airline publishes its own requirements, such as a minimum age, a minimum height or arm reach, and rules about visible tattoos. You will find them on our airline pages. For the doubts readers share most often, read 11 Worries Stopping You from Reaching Your Cabin Crew Dream.
Can you check my CV?
Individual CV reviews are not offered at the moment. 5 Simple Steps to Create Your Perfect Cabin Crew CV walks you through each section, with a full example you can follow.
I was not selected. What should I do now?
Many cabin crew were selected on their second or third attempt. Airlines usually ask you to wait a few months before you apply again. Think about the stage where your day ended and work on that one. The Cabin Crew Interview Guide links to an article for every stage.
I signed up but did not receive any email.
Check your spam or promotions folder first. The first email asks you to confirm your subscription: click the button inside, and the 25 Questions and Answers or the welcome email follows. If nothing arrives within an hour, contact us.
Which book should I start with?
If your final interview is coming up, start with 101 Questions and Answers. If you are at the beginning, How to Become a Flight Attendant covers every stage and includes the 101 questions as a chapter. The books page compares all three.
I bought an eBook. Where is my download?
The download link is sent by email right after your purchase, to the address you used at checkout. Check your spam folder, and if you cannot find it, contact us with your order email.
Will the guides and books guarantee that I get the job?
No one can promise that, and we never will. The airlines make their own decisions. What the guides and books give you is preparation: knowing what each stage looks like, and having thought through your answers before you walk in.
How do I unsubscribe from the emails?
Every email has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you will not receive any more.
